Our History

My mother said my first word was "PONY" and ever since I can remember all I wanted was a "PONY".

After graduating HS and moving to GainesvilleFL and attending College at Sante Fe I went to work for the College of Vet Medicine. I worked in the Large Animal Department and began learning so much about Equine Medicine and Surgery and Equine Animal Husbandry while in their employee. I had so many great Professor's at my disposal and gained a lot of knowledge.

In 1981 I met a Vet Student John Mounger while working at the College and in 1983 we were married and we opened a Veterinarian Clinic in Bushnell, FL where I ran his Vet Practice for 19 years. This enabled me to learn a tremendous amount about Equine Medicine which has carried over to my pony farm"Ponyville Farm" in Brooksville, FL.

From 1984 - 2000 I raised American Warmbloods and showed competitively in Hunter/Jumper, Dressage and lower level Eventing under the watchful eye of Judy Fannin of Fannin Hill Farm in Eventing and Susan Woods in Dressage. In 1998 I leased a pony named "Kingsmead's Tiny Bubbles" aka "Snuggles" who is now owned by Judy Farrell and her name was changed to "Chantilie Lace". I bred her to "Blue Rain" who in 2006 and 2007 was the USEF Leading Pony Hunter Sire.

Once "Blue Ice"aka "Stormy" was born "ponies" have been my passion and my goal is to breed good quality ponies that are safe, well mannered, move well, win in the show ring and have outstanding temperaments.
